Friday is my fifth wedding anniversary. In celebration, I'm going to be naming things this week that show, even after five years, an international move, loss of loved ones, buying a house, finding jobs, and becoming adults, it's possible to still be totally and completely in love with someone.
1) When you turn over in the middle of the night, half-awake, and the cover slides down off your arm a little, exposing some skin, and you feel your husband reach over and quietly and gently slide the sheet back up over your arm to protect you, you know you're really loved.
